Zucchini Carving

Date: Friday, August 1st, 2008 @ 3:00 P.M. in the East Show Arena

The zucchini carving contest is designed to be a fun way to use the extra large zucchini that grow in our local
gardens while allowing contestants to display their creativeness and carving skills.
Contestants must furnish their own carving tools. The contestants may bring their own zucchini or us one of the
zucchini that will be available. Participants in the contest may enter up until time for the contest to begin, 3:00 P.M.
on Friday, August 3rd.

Entries will be judged on overall appearance, creativity, and carving skill. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to each participant in the contest.
 

                                                                                    This contest will be broken into 5 groups.
                                                                                    1. 8 & under
                                                                                    2. 9-13 years of age
                                                                                    3. 14-`8 years of age
                                                                                    4. Adult (19 & older)
                                                                                    5. Power Tool and Chain Saw

There will be no entry fee required for this contest, but entry form needs to be filled out and presented to superintendent at entry time.

OVERALL APPEARANCE (1-10 POINTS)
CREATIVITY (1-10 POINTS)
CARVING (1-10 POINTS)
